Welcome Mama,

There is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ when you're growing a human. Our bodies change rapidly during pregnancy and what works for your body one day can be completely different the next day (just to keep you on your toes while you’re navigating all the things)...

Exercise throughout your entire pregnancy is a good thing ladies, however it is a time when being choosy about what you do and how you do it becomes a very real thing.  Our dedicated Pregnancy Reformer class is ready and waiting for you when you're 20 + weeks gestation and it's time for modification at Pilates.

Class is weekly, on Wednesdays at 6:30pm.

Let's move together through your mid-late stage of pregnancy to keep you niggle-free and feeling supported as you progress towards your due date.

Pregnancy Reformer Classes

Here is everything you need to know 🤍

Every BODY is welcome, even if you've never done Pilates before! Reformer Essentials classes are suitable up to 20 weeks gestation. At 20 weeks, it's time to move to the pregnancy specific class.

If you're experiencing pain in your body or complications in your pregnancy you'll need one on one guidance, so we recommend Private sessions.

Pilates has many benefits, the specific ones for pregnancy are;

🌺 helps to prepare body and mind for birth.

🌸 improved sleep, posture and a feeling of being empowered and confident in body.

🍀 community and connection with other people in the same age-and-stage as you.

🌼 reduced risk of developing gestational diabetes, pre-eclampsia, pelvic floor issues and pelvic/lower back pain.

Thoughts about Postnatal recovery 🤍

Increasingly referred to as the 4th Trimester; time for recovery, rest, healing and nourishment is recommended for a minimum of 12 weeks after your birth. 

Returning to exercise looks different for all of us! We have a postnatal offering that may be suitable for you at around 6 weeks after your birth. If you've attended Pilates throughout your pregnancy, it really sets you up for success on this side of your journey. Please reach out to us if you'd like to discuss this in more detail.

Pricing and Passes 

There is no time commitment required to join our weekly Pregnancy Reformer class. We understand the ups and downs that come with growing a small human and are happy to eb and flow with you so you can make a booking on a week-to-week basis.

All new clients at Northlake Pilates can trial our studio with the New client $55 offer of 2 Reformer classes in 2 weeks.

You can choose a class pass, which allows for flexible week-to-week booking.

The 5 Class Pass is $180, the 10 Class Pass is $340, or if you would like to book 4 consecutive classes, we offer a One-Month Pass for $135.

If you need to slow down and have unused credits at 36 weeks you can carry forward your pre-paid classes to be used postnatally. We've got your back Mama!
